Breathwork is an alchemic practice of radiating positivity - a shared vision that blends jazz, Americana, and improvisation into a distinctive and accessible sound. Their debut offering, Amber, released on December 13, 2024, brings this vision to life with a mix of tight rhythms and free-flowing improvisation. Amber includes originals that Breathwork has become known for in their live shows as well as their highly acclaimed rendition of Neil Young’s classic, Old Man. Available on vinyl and streaming platforms via Music Lab Records, Amber is quickly gaining attention for its engaging sound and dynamic energy. Based in Vermont, Breathwork continues to explore new musical paths, effortlessly merging genres and leaving listeners curious about their next move.


Breathwork is the creative project of Ethan Snyder and Xander Naylor that combines “that signature Naylor sound” (Rolling Stone) with Snyder’s “extraordinary talent” (YouTube). Naylor and Snyder have collectively performed all over the world with acts such as Mwenso and the Shakes, Moon Hooch, The Sound of (Black) Music and Warbly Jets.  They have performed in concerts and festivals all over the world, including Montreal International Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Central Park Summerstage, Lincoln Center, Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, and the Perelman Performing Arts Center (opening night).
